Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.

The staff at Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County and our Kids Care locations work hard each day to do Whatever It Takes to create Great Futures for our members. That was on full display recently at our Orchard View Elementary School Kids Care site in Middlebury.

Anika deals with some physical challenges, but was encouraged to use the monkey bars with help from our site manager Elise Kauffman. Elise helped Anika push past her fear. She told her that she wasn’t going to let her fall, and that she believed Anika could do it. The joy on Anika’s face as she tackled the challenge was magical.

Our mission is to Inspire and Empower all children, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential. We’re proud of Anika for taking on the challenge and of Elise for helping her accomplish the goal.
