OUR MISSION

To Inspire & Empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as Productive, Caring & Responsible citizens.

Who We Are

Opened as The Goshen Boys Club in April of 1956 on Crescent Street, Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County has been a force for good in the lives of youth for more than 65 years. Our team of skilled, caring professionals is experienced in youth development. We see potential in every child and teen that walks through our doors. We are here to elevate the youth of our community and let them know that they are capable, worthy and important.

What We Do

Each day, we welcome more than 1,500 youth between the ages of six and 18 to our Clubhouses. As soon as our club members walk through our doors, they enter an environment of stability, consistency, and physical and emotional safety. Each day we build deeply powerful relationships with the youth we serve and open avenues of opportunity for young people across our community. We offer safe places where young people can learn, grow and succeed.

We provide a quality Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who enters our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, equipped with the skills needed to have a successful life, and demonstrating good character and citizenship.

Whatever It Takes to Build Great Futures

Our Locations

Our Clubhouses are in neighborhoods where the greatest need exists. We’re open when kids need us most – after school, on most school breaks, and all day during the summer. Our members also have the option to attend Camp Koda, a summer day-camp based around our renovated cabin in Goshen. We operate Clubhouses in Elkhart, Goshen, Middlebury and Nappanee and serve more than 7,500 of Elkhart County’s youth annually.

Our Formula for Success

We focus on four key program areas that work together to give our members
a head start on a great future:

Academic Success
Career Development / Workforce Readiness
Good Character & Citizenship
Healthy Lifestyles

STATEMENT OF INCLUSION

All belong. Our mission and beliefs fuel our commitment to promoting safe, positive, and inclusive environments for all. Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County supports all youth and teens – of every race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, socio-economic status, and religion – in reaching their full potential.
