In the Governor’s statement on May 1, he outlined guidance for reopening various sectors of the economy. The plan assists the reopening business and industry in our County.  Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County looks forward to opening to our Club members and serving our families.

The Governor’s guidance limits group size gatherings throughout the month of May and into June. Social distancing recommendations are still in effect.

Protocols at the Club will be different when we reopen. The staff will wear masks; we will be following HIPPA policies as we monitor staff temperatures and symptoms daily. Child drop-off and pick up will change; the activities and space required for activities will increase.  We are currently gathering PPE, training our teams, and disinfecting the Clubs. Group size will be limited. At the start, a signup process will give priority to first responders. 

As soon as we are cleared to open, we will be ready.
