Triple P is an evidence-based parenting support curriculum that focuses on equipping parents and caregivers with effective strategies to address a multitude of parenting issues and challenges for children up to age 16, including children with developmental disabilities. Developed by a professor at the University of Queensland in Australia more than four decades ago, Triple P has helped approximately 4 million children and their families. It is used in more than 25 countries and has been translated into 21 languages other than English. More than 980 trials, studies and published papers, including more than 335 evaluation papers, 172 of which are randomized controlled trials, conducted throughout the world show Triple P works across cultures, socio-economic groups and family structures.
