At our Goshen Club, we believe in providing our members with unique and transformative experiences that can have a positive impact on their lives. As part of our career exploration pathway, we offered our teens the chance to experience what it’s like working in various fields, taking advantage of our Oculus VR headset and programming from TransfrVR. With hundreds of career modules to choose from, this immersive programming allows for a “hands-on” virtual experience of the real thing. From changing the oil in a car to peeling potatoes in the culinary module and even performing surgery, our members had the chance to explore different career paths and gain valuable insights into their interests and skills. At Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County, we strive to equip our members with the tools and resources they need to succeed, both academically and professionally.
