We are pleased to announce the hiring of Natalie Buroker as our new Chief Advancement Officer. In this role, Buroker will lead our organization’s fundraising and marketing strategy, donor engagement, community partnerships, and philanthropic initiatives to further strengthen outcomes for youth and families across Elkhart, Nobel, and Steuben counties.
Natalie brings more than 20 years of nonprofit experience to Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County, including 15 years of service with United Way organizations. Her previous roles span Crossroads United Way, Indiana United Ways, the United Way of St. Joseph County, United Way of Central Indiana, and Jackson County United Way, where she built a distinguished track record in relationship development, strategic philanthropy, and community impact.
“Natalie’s depth of experience and passion for community make her an incredible addition to our leadership team,” said Dr. Tami Hicks, President and CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County. “Her ability to cultivate meaningful partnerships and inspire support will help ensure that even more young people in Elkhart County have access to safe, supportive, and enriching Club experiences.”
Natalie holds a Nonprofit Executive Certificate from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
Outside of her professional work, Natalie enjoys a joyful and active home life with her boyfriend, Steve Reynolds, and their seven children: Faith, Jack, Eli, Everrett, Elliott, Emmett, and Charlee, along with their two dogs, Monty and Luca. She is an avid reader, sports enthusiast, and multi-sport athlete who has competed in numerous half marathons, 5Ks, and triathlons. She is also actively involved in volunteer efforts at her children’s school and church.
Natalie currently serves on the Interra Cares Foundation Board and participates in the Building Strong Brains initiative, which supports early childhood wellbeing and kindergarten readiness—further reflecting her deep commitment to helping children and families thrive.
“I am honored to join Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County and support its mission of helping young people reach their full potential,” said Natalie. “This community is incredibly special, and I look forward to working with donors, partners, and staff to ensure our Clubs remain a place of opportunity, belonging, and hope for every child who walks through our doors.”
