How is KidsCare different from Boys & Girls Clubs?


KidsCare is a fee-based program based in local schools.




How much does KidsCare cost?


There is a $30.00 one-time registration fee per child. This fee is non-refundable and Is not to exceed a total of $30.00 per family.

For only mornings or only afternoons:

$45.00 weekly fee per child (AM or PM Only)

For both mornings and afternoons:

$65.00 weekly fee per child for (AM and PM)

2-Hour Delay/Late Start Days:

$15.00 per day per family (no charge if enrolled in morning care)

Early Release Days:

$15.00 per day per family (no charge if enrolled in afternoon care)

5% Discount for School System Employees

(Elkhart, Concord, Goshen, Middlebury, Fairfield, Sturgis, and WaNee school systems)

Boys & Girls Clubs Membership Included

(Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County locations)

**We are waiting on schools to release COVID-19 reopen plans for Fall 2020. Prices and hours subject to change as school systems announce plans.




What time do you open/close?


Opens: 5:30am (morning care is provided until the start of school)

Closes: 5:30pm (afternoon care starts immediately after school)




When do I pay?


Payment is to be made by the Friday before the week your child is scheduled for care.




Where do I pay?


You can pay online with a bank account or credit card through our online payment system. Each week you will be emailed an invoice, and you simply click to pay. You can also sign up for auto-pay through this system.

We encourage you to use our online payment system. However, you can pay with cash, check or money order at your KidsCare site.

*If paying cash, no change will be given, only credit toward the next week of KidsCare. Checks and money orders can be made out to KidsCare.




Do I have to pay when my child does not attend that week?


Yes. KidsCare is based on enrollment and not attendance. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call KidsCare at (574) 533-4590.




Do you prorate shortened weeks?


No, we do not prorate. We have a flat weekly fee that is based on your child’s enrollment status.




Does KidsCare provide time for homework?


Yes, KidsCare sites have homework and reading for 20-30 minutes morning and afternoon.




Is KidsCare open on days when school is closed?


No. KidsCare is only open when school is in session. That includes both scheduled and unscheduled closings.




Is KidsCare open during school breaks?


Some Indiana KidsCare locations are open for summer break. Check with your specific site for details.

KidsCare members will be permitted to attend a Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County location when a program at a Club is available during the other school breaks.




Will KidsCare charge me for winter and spring breaks?


No, you will not be charged for those specific weeks.




What time can I drop my child off at KidsCare on 2-hour delay days?


KidsCare opens at 5:30am regardless of a delay and will stay open until school starts.
