Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County have been changing children’s lives for over 65 years! We are searching for a Media and Performing Arts Supervisor for our Elkhart Club.
- Full-Time Hours – School year (August-May) * 11am to 8pm and Summer * 9am to 6pm
- Regular hours Monday through Friday
- Opportunity for up to a 3% performance-based rate increase at 90 Days

JOB SUMMARY
Create, implement, supervise, and evaluate program activities and outcomes in our Media and Performing Arts program. Promote education in this field of study, allow for creativity, and support members desire to explore various art forms or add to current knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED required with a degree in related field a plus
- Minimum two years’ work experience supervising school-aged youth in a group setting
- Safe driving record, driver license, and automobile insurance required
- High energy, enthusiastic personality, and dependability a must
- A team player who works well with others and is willing to be supportive when/where needed
- Pre-employment drug screen, background, reference, and driver record checks required
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide programming for members in grades 4th through 12th Grade
- Design, implement, supervise, and evaluate engaging quality programming within Media Arts with the oversight of supervision
- Provide age-appropriate fun, beneficial, and imaginative programs
- Market and recruit for programs by ensuring accurate and current information is available for all members and parents
- Ensure the development of new music resources for members
- Oversee the development of musical ensembles with members to ensure programming expectations are met at Club musical events
- Implement an outcome-based measurement tool to determine the musical progress of those members enrolled in the music programs
- Perform administrative tasks, such as filling out reports, forms, etc., as assigned
