Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County have been changing children’s lives for over 65 years! We have opportunities to mentor youth by assisting with program activities and creating on-going relationships. This position focuses on providing tutoring and academic support individually or in a small-group setting.

• Part-Time Hours- maximum of 12 hours per week
• Regular hours Monday through Friday

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working with youth required.
• High energy, enthusiastic personality, and dependability a must
• Experience working with students in a classroom setting
• Pre-employment drug screening, background, reference, and driver’s record checks are required

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Inspire, guide, and support members
• Tutor students between grades 1-6
• Help students with homework
• Supplements tutoring/homework help with educational activities
• Track and report progress of individual students
• Assure that members are held accountable for their behavior
• Perform other related duties, as assigned
