Summer At The Clubs

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County has a variety of options for your kids to ensure SUMMER FUN STARTS HERE!

Summer at the Club is offered from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with early bird options as early as 6 a.m. It’s the same great Boys & Girls Club programs you know with extra activities added for the summer! Summer programs are open to grades 1-12. There is a one-time fee to attend summer programs and a weekly fee for early bird options. Lunch and afternoon snacks are included (breakfast for early birds).

KidsCare at OxBow Elementary School

KidsCare services are available 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at OxBow Elementary School, 23525 County Road 45, Elkhart. It’s open for kids ages 5 through 12 with hands-on activities in the arts, athletics, games and more. Fees are just $100 a week per child with a one-time registration fee of $30. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks are provided.

Camp Koda

Camp Koda provides kids with theme-based activities each week designed to be fun and strengthen their academic skills in our unique, wooded cabin setting. Days are filled with friendship, games and fun challenges to keep kids engaged throughout the summer break. Cost is $115 per week with a one-time registration fee of $30. Morning and afternoon snacks and lunch is provided.

Out of this World Week: This week is all about learning what happens above us, both in and out of this world. Ranging from weather, planets, supernovas, and even galaxies! We will have games, experiments, and so much more.

June 12-16

Wildlife Warriors Week: Grab your binoculars, lace up your boots and get ready to join Camp Koda for Wildlife Warrior Week! We are going to take a walk on the wild side, with a trip to the Fort Wayne Zoo!

June 19-23

Career Quest Week: We will dive into the different careers in our local community. We will tap into our strengths and weaknesses, learn how to create SMART goals, and what it takes to be a leader!

June 26-30

Food Frenzy Week: This week we will be learning all about food. How to pick it, prepare it, and yes how to eat it! Each day the campers will get to prepare their own snacks to eat in a frenzy. We also have a great community partner, Goshen Health, coming to teach us all about healthy eating habits!

July 10-14

Mystery Week: Campers should be ready for a super exciting week that will keep you guessing, because every day is a new theme!

July 17-21

Curious Creators Week: Einstein is quoted as saying “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” Inventors week will include many fun STEM projects as we learn about some of history’s greatest inventors along the way.

July 24-28

Blast from the Past Week: Learn about ancient civilizations like the Egyptians, Pirates, and life with Dinosaurs! We also will learn about what the future could possibly look like and how one day we can impact it!

July 31-August 4

Makin’ Moves Week: Competition is the name and sports is the game! This last week of camp will be the most active and movement centered week to get those start of the school year jitters out! We will play every sport under the sun and the campers will get their chance to take on the counselors in a series of games.
