To Inspire & Empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as Productive, Caring & Responsible citizens.
Who We Are
Opened as The Goshen Boys Club in April of 1956 on Crescent Street in Goshen, Indiana, Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County has been a force for good in the lives of youth for over half a century. With over 60 years of experience in youth development and a team of skilled, caring professionals, we see potential in every child and teen that walks through our doors. We are here to elevate the youth of our community and let them know that they are capable, worthy and important.
What We Do
Each day, we welcome more than 1,500 youth between the ages of six and 18 to our Clubhouses. As soon as our club members walk through our doors, they enter an environment of stability, consistency, and physical and emotional safety. Each day we build deeply powerful relationships with the youth we serve and open avenues of opportunity for young people across our community. We offer safe places where young people can learn, grow and succeed.
We provide a quality Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who enters our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, equipped with the skills needed to have a successful life, and demonstrating good character and citizenship.
Our Clubhouses are in neighborhoods where the greatest need exists. We’re open when kids need us most - after school, on most school breaks, and all day during the summer. Our members also have the option to attend Camp Koda, a summer day-camp based around our newly renovated cabin in Goshen. We operate Clubhouses in Elkhart, Goshen, Middlebury, and Nappanee and serve over 7,500 of Elkhart County’s youth annually.
Our Formula for Success
We focus on four key program areas that work together to give our members
a head start on a great future:
Career Development / Workforce Readiness
Good Character & Citizenship
