A Night to remember, and that’s no Bull!

On November 7th, our Middlebury Boys & Girls Club kids and their families got the thrill of a lifetime: a live, high-stakes Professional Bull Riding (PBR) show at the MEC. The air buzzed with excitement as massive bulls bucked and cowboys clung on for dear life, every leap raising cheers and pounding hearts.
We owe a huge thank you to Blue Gate, PBR, Premier Western Sports, and The MEC for making this electrifying evening possible, and to Black Anvil for orchestrating such an unforgettable event. The suspense in the arena was palpable. The kids rallied behind their favorite riders, gasping as riders launched into the air and clung for those adrenaline-packed seven seconds. “My favorite part was watching the bull riders fighting to stay on while the bulls are spinning and jumping everywhere!” exclaimed Kaden Todd, one of our own Middlebury Club kids.

Amid the explosive action, everyone enjoyed hometown favorites like fried pickles, hot dogs, and chicken fingers in between rounds. The excitement didn’t stop there; the kids even glimpsed junior bull riders, their own age, bravely beginning their bull riding journeys.
The night ended, but the memories linger. Our Club kids left with visions of daring cowboys, wild bulls, and dreams of coming back for more. This was more than an event, it was a night where adventure, courage, and community took center ring.
