Oversees all Club member guidance, discipline, and youth issue reporting. Ensures effective behavior modification strategies, communication, and follow up.
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and/or Equivalent Certification is required. MSW is preferred.
Minimum two years of experience in a role overseeing school-aged children in a group supervision setting.
Experience in the mental health field preferred.
Reliable transportation, safe driving record, driver license, and automobile insurance required.
High energy, enthusiastic personality, and dependability a must.
A team player who works well with others and be willing to help where needed.
Pre-employment drug screening, background, reference, and driver’s record checks are required.
Provide guidance/discipline for all ages throughout the entire Club during program hours.
Prepare for and facilitate all Youth Issues meetings as scheduled; including establishing an effective system to receive all Youth Issues paperwork from staff.
Primary parent contact for all youth issues, guidance, discipline, and work contracts with members and parents.
Primary contact with Goshen Community Schools, Juvenile Detention Center, Bashor Children’s Home, and Oaklawn as it pertains to member behavior, guidance, and discipline.
Prepare for, schedule, and execute all parent/member meeting when member returns to the Club post-disciplinary action.
Work with Area Director to identify wraparound needs, member status, training needed/required, participation in staff meetings, and duties as assigned.
Work with team members regarding various programming opportunities and event needs, as assigned.
